We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our global footprint into Australia. The Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved our smartphone audiometry (hearTest™) and video otoscope (hearScope™) products. The TGA regulates healthcare products that are made available in Australia in order to enforce local standards. The regulations are in place to protect the Australian public from any potential risks that they may face through the use of therapeutic goods. TGA registration is based off of the CE certification, which we received recently.
In order to supply hearTest™ and hearScope™ in Australia, we comply with the requirements for quality, safety, efficacy and performance that has been validated through an Australian sponsor - Sonic Innovations.
Sonic Innovations is a widely known and reputable audiological distributor with global operations. This partnership is a significant expansion of our distribution chain, now making accessible clinical hearing tests available across Australia. Our innovative digital hearing care products opens up new opportunities for decentralised hearing health in Australia.
We have been certified through pre-market assessments, post-market monitoring and licensing of Australian manufacturers. By ensuring the hearTest™ and hearScope™ products are credible and ready for the Australian market, we are able to work towards our mission of “healthy hearing, for everyone, everywhere”.
